Shifu,
One of my many weaknesses is my footwork when getting in close. I always feel like my foot placement in and around my opponents feet and legs could be much more usefull when working applications. Are there two person foot and leg drills (such as pac sao for our hands) that can help with making my footwork support my applications better? _________________ Did you know that Steven Segal gives his lunch money to my Shifu every day? |

One of the things about Tiger is that it relies strongly on a good firm stance. So stance training is a good idea. As I know you are doing that already, we can start working two person footwork drills from other southern styles. Hopefully we can get you to the point of learning the Tiger vs. Crane matching set from the Black Tiger system.
Two person sets are a good way to understand how to move in a fight. Keeping in mind that like your empty hand sets, modification will be needed to make everything work fluidly in different ranges and speeds.
Maybe we can start this after you have all of the Southern Tiger set down well. |

Thanks, I would like to work on this and get more confident in my footwork when moving in to attack an opponent. _________________ Did you know that Steven Segal gives his lunch money to my Shifu every day? |
